Gov. Browns Signs AB 131, Completes DREAM Act

California Governor Jerry Brown signed AB 131 Saturday, completing the California Dream Act, which will allow undocumented immigrant students access to apply for state-funded financial aid. AB 131 is the second half of a bill that included AB 130, which was signed in July. AB 130 allowed the same students access to privatized funding. The

Un exceso de consumo de carne puede causar daños severos en nuestro organismo, como cáncer, enfermedades cardíacas, la obesidad, entre otros.

Hundreds of permanent residents attended the “It Is Time” citizenship workshops in Sun Valley Saturday to begin the process of becoming citizens of the United States. The free event – hosted by the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) – was held at John Francis Polytechnic High and featured multiple workshops.
