Y agrega: “muchos de los que lo hacen sufren de severos problemas de salud y pobreza”.

Experts from the Latino community say that Latinos will be seeing many changes in their populace due to the 2010 Census data. El Nuevo Sol, CSUN’s Spanish-Language journalism department’s multimedia project, hosted a panel discussion regarding Census data and the impact on the Latino community.

Anthony Ortega served the military for 10 years and he came back to a life of drugs and into the streets. “Living in the streets of skid row is a daily battle. It’s America’s own inside war,” Ortega said.
